Yesterday, Darius spent the afternoon at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta. Athenian and DGW supporter Ben H. Allen arranged for the donated studio time, and our cameras were rolling to record this special day (future DVD extras???). From start to finish, Darius was in the zone. After knocking out a rap about his trip out west to some music composed and recorded by Nightline anchor and friend, Martin Bashir., we let Big D loose to record some of his own raps (he's been practicing for months). Ben Allen also surprised Darius with a song he'd written, which Darius will work on for a future recording session. HUGE thanks to Taryn Kaufman and Mack Woodward at Tree Sound Studios for making this awesome experience possible.
Today's screening at the Atlanta Film Festival was well attended (especially for a Monday afternoon), and the audience was extremely receptive and enthusiastic. Check out the great article in today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Tomorrow, Daniel, Ben, Sam, and Tbarn head south to the Palm Beach International Film Festival. If you know anyone in that part of Florida, send them to Wednesday night's screening. We missed the opening night party at this festival (due to our Atlanta screening), which was held at Mar-A-Lago (Trump's estate), but we sent Tracy Seckler's parents, Earl and Janet Kramer, in our place, and they had a blast!
